My girlfriend applied for module registration early Dec 2012. Mid January she received a letter in the post which stated that she had an outstanding amount to pay. Nowhere on the letter is a date by which it should be paid. There is however a link on the page which she was supposed to go to. Now the problem for me is that we are not magicians, and we cannot open a WEBSITE link on a piece of paper. The link is 63 characters long, so retyping this series of characters would be a nightmare. Nevertheless she paid the amount in on 7 Feb 2013.

Last week she was concerned about not having any form of study material yet. She drove to UNISA and they pointed out that she was in fact not registered. The cut off date for her payment was on 1 Feb.

Directly after hearing the news I attempted to contact UNISA officials for 2 days straight. The numbers that were given to me lead me into circles of very unhelpful, stubborn, uninformed fools. I finally reached the head of registration in her college and he said that he cannot help us (Even though she may lose her job) because she already had been registered.

I would rather get punched in the crotch repeatedly by Mike Tyson than deal with UNISA.
