I have tried contacting Dr Gumede, lecturer of ETH302S. It is 3 weeks before our exam and he has gone on leave???
This module has changed this year and no one seems to know what is going on (including the lecturer). MyUnisa discussion forum is full of complaints as no one knows where to find the answers to the assignment as the new textbook does not correlate to the old questions which they have used.
We did not receive a study guide and still do not know which chapters of the prescribed book we should study.
No one has received their results for the assignments and the tutorials don't the answers. How are we going to know what to learn for the exam? The answers given to us for assignment two do not even correspond with the actual questions.
We do not have a clue what to study for the exam. We have assignments (which we do not have any answers to), past papers (which are completely different to the new work we are doing), a prescribed book (which seems to have very little relation to this module) and tutorial letter 501 (which just has even more random information about the Education White Paper 6).
UNISA has failed us again.
