When my family and I moved, we naturally started looking for a nursery school for my 2 year old little girl, that was not only closer to home but as good, if not better that the one she had been attending. We came across Step by Step that seemed to be decent.
The principal painted a pretty picture, but unfortunately, when my baby girl started, its quickly turned sour. Among other things, my daughter came home with dirty underwear - twice. And once with some other child's socks. I raised this with the teachers who couldn't provide an appropriate explanation.
I don't believe I was unreasonable and like I'm sure any other mother would, I wanted my child out of there.
We had given notice (verbal, then written) but after yet another indecent, the principal, Karin, phoned to say we must remove my child from her school immediately. Not caring where would find a daycare to look after her at the beginning of a month, after we had already paid her for September. She now refuses to refund our deposit and the months' fee even though she's the one who forced us to take my baby girl out. We are now perusing legal action. Its a shame, because the only person to really suffer here was my daughter.
