TERTIARY EDUCATION - A COMPLICATED PROCESS

At the beginning of 2013, myself and a friend applied for a specific accounting degree. Upon our attempted registration we learnt we did not meet the qualifying criteria and were advised that in order to successfully register for the degree we would have to complete the NUMS numerical course. I already suffered a payment headache with Unisa in that regard. NUMS released the final result as late as 06 July 2013 and we both successfully completed the course. We now found ourselves with a week to register, but apparently we still do not qualify. I have e-mailed UNISA and attempted to call them, but to no avail. The lecturer at NUMS whom my friend addressed the situation with had a very arrogant attitude about how one week is more than sufficient time to register... and yet our results mean absolutely nothing because we still cannot register. My NUMS student number is - 77853857. My UNISA student number is - 51627329. Please can anyone get back to me in time to resolve the issue at hand so that I can register. If I am forced to personally go to UNISA I will completely lose it! What's the point of an internet based learning system if you're still restricted to going there personally.
