Our contractor sub-contracted to Nyathi for cupboards in our kitchen.
There were a number of issues with the installation of the kitchen cupboards, which were constantly communicated to contractor & Nyathi. A number of times, due to the contractor's inability to resolve issues with Nyathi, we were forced to intervene & deal directly with Mervin the installer & Pascal the manager.
Mervin was the 2nd installer because the first team had not done the job per Nyathi's computer design & workmanship was unacceptable. Issues with fixtures, cutting, edging, wrong size cupboards made, roof of the pantry, positioning of ovens, size of island, incorrect components supplied, delays in fitters returning to complete the work & finishing the handles etc. Drawers & shelves are failing 1yr later
Were concerned to leave the electrical distribution board in the area of the corner pantry cupboard in & wanted it moved to a more reasonable area. They left it there & restricted access. We had insects and rodents in our pantry.
We had an electrical fault & had to cut the roof to get electrics on. Mike took over the company during the project won't return our calls or respond to our lette
