We built our dream home exactly one year ago. On the advice of our builder, decided to ask Honeydew to give us a quote on interior fireplace, braai and pizza oven. First of all took forever to install these units, secondly, the person who installed the units arrived here without any tools. The were drilled incorrectly and the grid for the outside braai did not fit. Another 2 week delay. Furthermore. when we lit the fire inside the house, smoke was pouring from the fireplace. We called them and never heard from them now two weeks later. I eventually phoned another company to come out and have a look. This company advised us that there is a part missing in the flue. They installed the unit. The owner of Honeydew was extremely rude on the phone to my husband and abused him verbally with. He even threatened to beat him up. I will never recommend Honeydew Family Fires. Till today there is still a part outstanding, which was apparently ordered for us. One year later!!!
