I paid Adrian May a deposit of R17130 to build an en suite bathroom in March 2013. There were problems with the plans due to his lack of knowledge regarding council regulations and his constant excuses caused great delays. He eventually started building in July 2013 and then disappeared from the building site never to seen or heard from again. He does not respond to calls, emails or messages. He left me with 3 half finished walls and absconded with the rest of my money which is quite a considerable amount. He is an uncrupulous businessman. What can be done to bring this man to book which is not going to incur heavy legal fees? Please post if you have a solution.
