It is now 1.5 years since he has taken a R34 000 deposit from me on the pretext of installing wooden doors and windows. After 3 weeks into the contract, it was just excuses upon excuses and staff issues. Besides the windows and doors I never received, I ended paying out of my pocket an additional R10 000 for building material and labor that was quoted and paid for. He abandoned his staff on site and never paid them. I had to break down all his building work and had to redo all the building alterations again with more cost.
Truly dishonest and unproffessional, this case will be reported to the police.
