I booked my Peugeot 308 in at Peugeot Centurion. They informed me that my maintenance plan expired at the end of October and that the cost of the repairs was a total of R32 000 (turbo repair and tension belt). I asked Peugeot Centurion to take the matter up with Peugeot SA, I later took the matter up with Peugeot SA myself as I was not getting any satisfaction with the dealership, which informed me that Peugeot SA agreed to cover 30% of the tension belt. Speaking to Sylvester at Peugeot SA he informed me that the dealership had loaded the call incorrectly and if they load it differently Peugeot will pay 100% of the tension belt. After speaking to Sylvester today 14 January 2013 (more than 4 weeks after booking in my car and being without a vehicle with no courtesy car!) he informed me that Peugeot SA has agreed to pay 30% of the tension belt repairs and 30% of the turbo repairs? Firstly, what happened to the 100% of the tension belt a couple of days ago and the most important question of all is if it is normal for a car with less than 50 000km to need these kind of repairs done and ironically straight after my maintenance plan has expired?
