I recently went to Car Service City in Illovo to report a squeaking sound when I drive over bumps. After a brief test drive with me, it was decided that the shock absorbers needed to be replaced at R4000.00. No one even looked at the shocks. I had been quoted R3000.00 over the phone by SupaQuick and told the manager this. He didn't seem phased and told me that R4000.00 was his price. I decided to go to Supaquick for a second opinion and they checked the shocks only to discover that there is nothing wrong with them. I nearly paid R4000.00 for NOTHING! This is the second time I have dealt with this company and the last.
