The complaint leading to me contacting Nissan is the last of many experienced with my Navara.
1) I Took delivery of the vehicle and had to return because the aerial was forgotten.
2) Only cheap aftermarket rubber mats that keep moving. The promised to sort some mats out but never did.
3) Number plates were attached with double-sided tape. Rear plate fell off twice. It took an hour to attach the mounting bracket and rivet the plates on. The rear plate was attached improperly, it is deformed.
4) Handbrake was too loose to engage in my driveway. After adjustment it still slips on minor inclines.
5) The car has broken down 3 times while parked on a decline. Fuel guage was 3/8 full. Had to use diesel pump. Handbrake would not hold car either.
6) Today was the last straw, there is rust around the factory-fitted roof-rack.
7) My 3 other Nissans had a 3yr warranty. The Navara only has 1 year. While nobody outright, it is a by omission. The purchase process was also quite painful. My hope is that this unacceptable service level is specific to the dealership and not Nissan as a whole. At this point, I would be happiest to return the keys and get this lemon off my hands.
