I recently serviced my car and asked to have my rear suspension checked as i heard a noise. Later that day I was told nothing is wrong with my car. The next day i found out at a different store and said the wheel bearing seems really bad. Another booking was made for a week later for brakes and check the wheel bearings, Again nothing was found and everything is okay after completing the brakes. I was still not happy as the noise has now become even louder, and another booking was made for the following week now being the 3rd visit they found that the wheel bearing is damaged/worn, They said they would get the part and make another booking. I received a sms 3 days later informing me that the part has arrived and a booking has been made for a week later again. At this stage the wheel bearing is critical and my vehicle is in a state where i cannot use it and I mentioned this to the service advisor, all he could do was say sorry they are fully booked. I found another VW branch to fix my car.
Surely I feel my vehicle should have a priority booking as it took 3 bookings and visits to discover the damage or am I mistaken?
