Kings International was the South African counterpart of the moving company which did my intercontinental move from Germany. Naturally we had some damages to some goods at delivery. This was documented by me with photos I took with my camera. I also ask the movers what I have to do in order to put through a claim, they told me just inform the insurance.

Now the insurance declined my claim since I didn't report the damages immediately to them as well as documenting the damages on the delivery forms. The personnel from Kings International never directed me to complete these forms.

I contacted Mark Samaai, who coordinated the move here but who was not present at delivery. I am still waiting for feedback. My only eye witnesses for the damages was the personnel from kings as well as a few friends that help coordinate the delivery.

I have serious doubts in the competence of Kings International. Why is it not possible for them to confirm that the goods were found damaged at delivery, and somebody forgot to document it?
