Bought a Jonway scooter a C5 which was defective from day one. Have broken down on the freeway 3 times with this scooter. It has continuous electrical and mechanical faults. The final straw was coming up a major highway hill in the centre lane and it cuts out - a tanker is behind me and I have to try and get out of the way peak hour traffic.
The bike has 500 kms on the clock and I refuse to ride it for safety issues. I demanded a refund and Jonway now says they will not do so. I am expected to put my life at risk with this scooter.
The management does not give a rats about its customers.
Please beware when dealing with these people they will try and rip you off.
I am disgusted with them and will advise all I come into contact with NOT to deal with them.
They sell defective goods and are NOT interested in sorting it out.
I have handed them over and will be contacting ombudsman to deal with non ethical trading practices.
SAFETY IS EVERYTHING and this could have cost me my life.
