I bought a Probe car battery on July 2013 at Himo Spares in Witbank and late October 2013 it ceased to work. Took it back on 02 November 2013 and was given run around and even indirectly called a by Piet when he told me he does not believe that battery was used on Toyota Corrola after he found nothing wrong with new battery or my car, that's after he said it will be difficult to test battery without car being present. I took him to it after protesting, telling him that on initial purchase of battery I was not asked to bring car and it amazes me now why car is needed.
I was made to wait for more than 30 minutes until another staff member, Andries wanted to see my car again and I refused to which he told me that being emotional will not help me.
Andries eventually came with new exchange but sternly told cashier to note on slip that it will not be exchanged again if it fails even within warranty period.
I would like to advise Probe to choose agents/distributors carefully for their products as I will never use their products again and even influence a few individuals I know to do same.
