I thought I should complement WOODFORD Car Hire for the positive manner in which they handled my car rental reservation.

I made an online reservation to collect the rented car from the Durban City branch on a Sunday.
A day before my planned trip, I called the Durban City branch to confirm my collection date and time.
Only then did I find out that the Durban City branch is closed on Sundays

I then called the King Shaka International Airport branch (KSIA) and spoke to Jerome Hemmero, to tell him about my problem, as I will be arriving (at 6 am) by GreyHound at Durban station, and will not be able to get to KSIA without spending money on a taxi or shuttle.

Jerome Hemmero said he needed to speak to his bosses and he will come back to me.
Essa Suleman (operations director) stepped in and quickly corrected / saved the situation, by instructing that I be collected from Durban Station.
I was collected on time and given an upgraded car at no extra cost.

WOODFORD really made the saying "customer is king" true.
I was treated like a king.
My chosen car rental company going forward is WOODFORD without a doubt.
