Late delivery of vehicle and poor service

I had to take in my car to panelbeaters and my insurance arranged for me to get a courtesy car from Avis, which would be delivered at the property of the panelbeaters in Centurion at 10am on 28/01/2012 upon me leaving my car at the panelbeaters

I waited for a few minutes for the car until I asked the panelbeaters to call Avis at 10:20 to find out what was happening. We were told the driver had already left. to deliver the car. I never received any call from Avis apologising for the delay or explaining what was going on

In the meantime the drivers who had come to pick up the driver also arrived. They phoned the office and were told the driver was lost.

The driver and his supervisor only delivered the car at 10:54! Upon arriving the supervisor (Lindiwe) did not even have the decency to meet me and apologise-she quickly jumped into the car that had come to collect the driver and got busy with her phone.

The level of service I got from Avis is not acceptable. I was delayed and had to cancel commitments because of the late delivery. I certainly will not use Avis in my private capacity..with me they never tried harde
