Audi South Africa
"Spotless" vehicle anything but spotless

I found a listing for a Mitsubishi Lancer on [URL Removed] Being located in Mpumalanga 250km from the dealer I was dependant on an honest description of the vehicle. FRANCOIS SEEZING was the salesperson I spoke with and he described the 2011 M/Bishi Lancer with 34563km as "spotless". Based on that I had their in house staff work on the financing. When all this was done I made use of an opportunity to get to the dealership. Upon arrival I found the vehicle was nowhere near spotless. All four magwheels were damaged of which one was torn and not roadworthy. Almost all panels had damage and or overspray on them from poor attempts at painting over damage. The front grill was cracked, dashboard scratched & there was a deep scratch on the inside of the left front door window. How is it acceptable to tell a customer a vehicle with estimated damage of R20 000 to the body is spotless? Shame on you Audi the Glen! You should know better! Shame on you Francois Seezing and Enricus Krugel. Were you hoping to bag an to take the car off your hands? I could not in good conscience buy such a car which left me stranded 250km from home and cost me a day off work for no reason!
