I took my wife's Ford Figo to McCarthy Ford the Glen for the 60000km service and told them there's a noise coming from the left front wheel. They did the service and told me to bring the car back on the 16 July where they replaced the steering rack and took the car for wheel alignment. The QC person took the car for a test drive and he was very happy with the work.
We left ford at 17:15 and while driving home we noticed something was wrong as the steering wheel pulled to the left, started shaking after 120km/h and when going over small bumps the "clacking sound" on the left front wheel was still there. We assume that something is loose. Just to add to the list, when we received the car it smelt like 2day old sweat which was very unpleasant for me and my pregnant wife.
I refuse to take my wife's car back to McCarthy Ford & Mazda in the Glen to fix the problems or for another service. As every time we take the car for a service it has to go back for some problem. The Glen is far from our home and work so to organize transport for my wife every time the car has to go back is frustrating as you can imagen. And we end up taking the car to Ford Boksburg to fix the problems.
