I wish to air my utter disgust and dissatisfaction rendered by the brand Goldwagen. I bought a replacement TOPRAN slave on the 11/07/2013 cylinder at R786 for my GOLF 4 TDi. We installed it however it was not operational as I had no clutch after installing the "brand new slave" cylinder. I went to Goldwagen kliptown wishing to return the defective item and spoke to ASHLEY who mentioned that they needed to return the device to head office who will make the decision on either refunding or allowing me to buy the more expensive one at an additional cost. What happens to the 7 day return policy advertised. Nowhere does it exclaim this process. I have been a VW and Audi driver for all my years and Goldwagen was a brand I trusted and recommended to family and Friends. The latest stint is a total rip off to all clients. I use my vehicle daily and unluckily for me I had the old leaking one which will obviously damage the entire clutch kit which a replacement costs R3500 at Goldwagen. Also employing someone who mentions that a TOPRAN slave cylinder comes with instruction on how to install clearly indicates that the expertise hired are not of a mechanical nature. Hope alot of people read this
