This is in response to one of my previous complaints. Please beware when choosing to buy a Volkswagen Jetta 1.4 TSI (Probably their entire range). THE FUEL CONSUMPTION THEY ADVERTISE AND WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET ARE WORLDS APART... Volkswagen are not interested in customer service and chose to ignore my issue. I reported them to the Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa and it was ruled that their figures are a MISREPRESENTATION of the actual performance. Please see the following link for the ruling confirming the misrepresentation. They have to remove the fuel consumption figures from all their brochures :
