I have a TOYOTA HILUX 3l D4D and am out of Service Warranty. I phoned around in the greater Durban area and was informed by a Major Toyota Service Center in Durban North that since I have an extended Toyota Motor Plan, I would NOT be allowed to use a TOP 30 (R900) special that they were running. Instead I will have to do the 100000Km service as per Toyota spec (R1900) for them to honor the Extended Warranty (I event of a claim). I then proceeded to the parts manager and asked for a discount. He stated that he cannot give any discount and if I was unhappy I must take my vehicle elsewhere. I DID. In Durban you are just a means of cash and a number.
A phone call to MASCOR TOYOTA GREYTOWN and absolute joy. I got there late as its a 1.5 hour drive and by 16:30 I got a call that my vehicle was ready for collection. It cost me R1300 icluding the fuel and sevice. They matched and provided a sevice above and beyond. Thanks Yashin and Theo. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I will definately recommend your company to anyone.
