I was phoned a day before for an interview. I was informed I needed to be vaccinated as it is company policy. The place I currently work at finishes at 17:00. I went to Dis-Chem and they told me they do not do vaccination anymore. I went to Clicks and was told to come the following morning at 8. Unfortunately, staff arrived 9. This made me less than 5 minutes late for my interview. I do not mind not getting an opportunity but next time when calling possible employees for an interview, clearly state rules because not getting an opportunity because something that was out of my control is not valid enough and staff should have a way of speaking to other people. Hiring staff is utterly disrespectful!
