Sunday 7th April - after a long walk along the beachfront I popped into North Beach Wimpy and ordered the Bar One ice cream dessert from their menu. The picture on the menu clearly shows a large dessert glass under the "Just Chill" section. When I got my order I was given a kiddies glass. I queried it immediately and was told it was correct. The manageress came along and said the glass was wide. No it was not. It was a regular kiddies glass.
This is false advertising by Wimpy - if they only serve desserts in a kiddies glass - then say so!
Paying R21.00 for a kiddies ice cream dessert is shocking highway.
I am not sure if this is just the North Beach branch ripping it's customers off - or if it is Wimpy nationwide that have adopted this tactic.
