I had dinner at here on the evening of Valentine's day. Having paid R720 up front for myself and my girlfriend for the Valentine's menu, and having been there before, I expected a meal of a very high standard but unfortunately was very disappointed. The starter option was very nice, but the seafood main course that my partner ordered was of a very low standard as the fish tasted like it had been standing for a while as it was very dry and did not taste right. The prawns were undercooked and after sampling them myself found them to be quite disgusting. We mentioned this to our waitress who graciously apologized and offered us an alternative dish but we declined as I was now finished with my main course and it was getting rather late. When dessert came we were again disappointed as it was a very bland chocolate mousse that resembled the type that came in packets from a supermarket that is quickly mixed with milk, allowed to set and then served - hardly what I expected from an establishment such as this. This was a classic case of a restaurant exploiting couples on Valentines Day by mass producing a sub standard meal. I have had no response to my email complaint to them.
