When I think fast food, I think of a nice warm meal that is served with a dash of speed and a smile.. Why else was this label invented?
This is NEVER the case at KFC Broadway (Swapo) Durban North.
My colleagues and I work long hours, in which we don't have a lot of time to waste on meals. Being on Broadway, we have a fine selection of 'fast food' outlets, which serve us well on the odd occasion.
However, whenever we decide KFC is the way forward, we are highly disappointed in our decision. The till staff are unmotivated, don't know how to smile, hardly ever offer us a greeting and are often seen slouching on the machinery behind the tills. There is NEVER stock on the meals we select (which mainly consist of breakfasts and burgers). We, along with other patrons often spend 10 to 15 minutes waiting to receive their 'fast food', even when the branch is empty. Their attitudes have even caused us to leave the branch without ordering.
This is an ongoing saga that we have. This branch needs a big wake up call, as it is really letting the KFC brand down, as well as the whole meaning of 'fast food'.
