I hate to complain, but after the fourth bad experience, I feel it's now needed.
Please don't order any salad! 90% of it will be (cheap, browning) lettuce, and you will be lucky if you get a half tomato, cut into two chunks. (??!) and for over R60 for salad, you'd expect a bit more, especially when their slogan is "giving you more and more" - yea, lettuce maybe!!! and some 'barely-there-to-notice' extras..
Another thing, I can be a fussy eater (blood type diet) and I can't eat chicken. So, when I simply asked for the chicken wrap, I wanted the chicken to be replaced with beef, but instead, I got served the Mexican Fiesta Wrap instead. I got given the incorrect coffee and when I asked for salad instead of fries, I got, you guessed it, FRIES! When i do ask for salad instead of fries, I get a half plate of lettuce. (no surprise there)
Surely the waiters get a 'screen test' before being hired. -And please note, I'm not basing this on one experience, this happens every time I go to Mugg & Bean, without fail!
I personally think it's over priced for what you get! R80 for a chicken SANDWICH?! (and they have the cheek to be stingy with the chicken!)
NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!! (again)
