We ordered fish and chips from see spens and ask for 6 pieces of fish and a large chips. The large chips price was advertised and we accepted the price. The fish was not advertised at all and when we wanted to pay for the order, they charged us R256 for the order., R60 for the large chips and R33 for one piece of fish. We are locals and we normally pay between R17 and R23 for one fish. We confronted the lady and said it was a rip off. She just said we are in the real life now and this is what you pay. She did not know we were local and we know what we pay normally. We wanted to cancel the order, but she said no and took or money from us and smiled at us when we walked away.
This is unacceptable and your money. As a local we try to support the local shops through the year when it is not so busy. As a local I will never support see spens again and neither should any one ells. If you want to money, you do not deserve to be in business.
