I was just at Nandos in Sarina, Pinetown for a sit down supper with my family. Before ordering we had stopped past the KFC to purchase a simple Junior Burger for my four year old niece.
We walked into Nandos with the KFC packet in our hands and ordered our family's meal to sit down. At this stage we did not see the poorly displaced sign on their policy against consumables not purchased at Nandos. Nor did the staff inform us about the policy upon ordering.
Instead they wait for my niece to start eating her burger at the table (the KFC packaging was put in her moms bag by this stage) when they send a patron over who proceeds to tell me she is not aloud to eat her burger at the table in a not so nice manner.
I asked to speak to the manager to hopefully resolve this problem by asking her for a side plate to put the burger on so that my niece can eat her supper. When she did eventually come around she offered me an alternative to my solution and offered my niece a glass of juice until we were done with our meal and told us that she should eat them at home. When we asked for a refund the manger stated that she can not do that as it is "just money".
Supper ruined.
