We regularly eat at Cappuccino's in Clearwater and have been satisfied most of the times. But when we went there on Monday and ordered dishes that we have had in the past, the portion sizes were suddenly at least a third less than what it used to be. Upon speaking to the manager, Simba, we were told that they received instruction from Cappuccino's top management to reduce the portion size of all dishes "in light of tough economic times". Obviously the prices remain unchanged. My husband was so upset that he wanted to just pay for the drinks and leave. Simba agreed to increase his pasta to the same portion size as what it used to be before but told us that it will be the last time that we will get the bigger portions. When we come the next time the portions will definitely be smaller. Our only reply to this was: there will not be a next time then... we will not go there again to be ripped off... What a disappointment...
