We are big WIMPY fans! I grew up with Wimpy and I've always loved the taste. We eat out at Wimpy nearly every Thursday nite for the burger specials of R29.95 because we are in that area on a thursday. Today I was at Davenport Square and felt like having a Choc milkshake and just relaxing and reading the paper. When I walked in there were no waiters at the door so I seated myself. I noticed a lady staff member behind the till and another young man standing at the side of the counter chatting to the lady. I seated myself in full view of the counter but still nobody came so I stood up and shouted out for attention still nobody came so I went there myself to place an order. When the milkshake arrived I was offered no spoon (am I supposed to lick the cream out the glass - just wondering???) and no saucer. When My husband arrived to join me we had to go again to the till and place the order. Seems the waiters are useless and not very observant at Davenport. They need to wake up and tend to customers as they walk in the door!
