About 21 months ago I had a terrible experience at Tawny Eagle Spur in Southdowns Pretoria.
After that I was invited to come and have a meal on the house (a bribe) but I declined.
A couple of months later I was persuaded by my Daughter to come and join her family for a meal, and I did against my will.
To my surprise everything was really good; (as I am called a grumpy old man on many occasions') I really looked for faults. But I could not find any.
It was then mentioned to me by my daughter that I should pay a compliment to the establishment, but to me it was too early, as I really wanted to make sure that this change would not just disappear and the same old stuff would stick its neck out again.
Now 21 months later I can really pay them a HUGE COMPLEMENT.
As we go there quite a lot of times I am now convinced that their outstanding service and quality food is here to stay.
So to Lu Jeanne and her team CONGRATULATIONS you are really GREAT and your service is really outstanding you ALL really make everybody so welcome and you ALL really go the extra mile to make every visit a pleasant SPUR experience.
