I was appalled @ the standard of the food! I was anti going 2 eat there because I have had poor experiences from the Panarotti's before but becoz this 1 is newly built I thought this would probably not be 2 bad.
Oh boy! Was I mistaken.
We ordered a Greek salad & foccacia to start. They have the cheek to charge R50 for a starter salad & the ingredients were rotten, the focaccia tasted like cardboard again because the dough is a premix! My friend had ordered a spaghetti and meat. For a restaurant that is called Pizza Pasta you would think its their specialty but this was SO clearly out of a prepackaged bag & heated to order. The spaghetti had the look and feel of that from a can, the sauce was the same taste as canned, unseasoned tomato puree, my friend was adding sweetner & pepper 2 try make it palatable. In fairness my chicken schnitzel was not 2 bad but also obviously from a frozen pre-pack. My daughter had a kiddies Margaretta which was exactly the same as those frozen ones you by in a box. NOTHING FRESHLY MADE?!! I left a comment on the night, spoke 2 a manager (who couldn't deny any of my claims) & a week later, still no response!
Is it so hard to put a little effort in??
