I had various loans during the last year with Wonga and had no problems with them or payments. If I had a problem I contacted them and we sorted it out. But in the last month I was handed over for 3 accounts that was paid in full already by debit orders. How can you do this? The first one was for an amount of almost R300 for July 2012, today a person came to my work and told me I owe you /- R 2700 for August 2012 there is one for December 2012 and one for January 2013. As far as I know you can't get a new loan from Wonga if your old loan is not paid in full! So how the could this have happened?? If you had a problem why did you not contact me in the first place so that we could sort this out as there is now attorney fees with these amounts and they do not want the proof of payment they only want the money. I have tried to send them the proof of payment via fax and e-mail and it does not help. I am sending them bank statements with private information on and they do not want it so how else am I going to proof it was paid? Even my ITC has changed due to this it showed all Wonga loans paid in full and all of a sudden it shows outstanding amounts. What is going on?
