Originally when Fica came into play, I submitted all of the required documentation. I did not have a day of trouble until last Nov when I went into the bank to complete a transaction and was told that they were missing documentation and I could not complete my transaction. I then resubmitted everyth. thereafterI recd an sms saying if I had not fica'd my account my credit card would be cancelled. Since I had done so twice, I assumed this was a general sms. A few days later I recd an sms at 4.30pm to say as a result of my non-compliance, my credit card was cancelled. At that time of day the bank is unavailable. i called the card division the next day to be told that they couldn't help me. I spoke to the branch who were very helpful. Within 20 mins they had reinstated my credit card. However, last week when I was out of town (meaning a credit card would have been useful as it was a business trip) my credit card simply stopped functioning, no notification, just cancelled. It turns out my paper work has been lost. After speaking to a consultant at 9.15am today, I am still waiting for a call back, for a problem fhat is not mine. I am disgusted with the lack of customer service.
