I moved to jhb in september to start a new possition at the S.A Navy headoffices in pta. It was a temp post at first but then they decided to keep me here permanently. I searched the net for n moving company and got various quotes and finally decided on one. Paid them in cash and they moved my furniture from simonstown to jhb, kempton park on the 8th of october and ir arrived here the next day. On the 11th of october three armed men entered the house, tied me up and carried out most of my belongings. I had all the details and quotes etc on my laptop wich was also in the. Now auto and general will not pay because i can not give them the details of the moving company. I have had affidaveds typed by my previous landlord stating when my things were moved. But still they keep dragging the process and now refuse to pay. I have had previous claims not being paid as well, and feel they are treating me unfairly.
