Long story short, my partner thought she was doing us a favour by adding my car to her insurance and cancelling mine-less paper work, one transaction etc. She didn't realise though that this would mean that I would have to find time to redo car inspection and in essence incur 12 months extra excess fees.
Annoyed at having to redo everything, I phoned up 1st for women to re-instate my policy and revert back to where we were this time yesterday. With much help and patience from Alistair Canham this was all possible. Sometimes customer service is good, but it is rare that it is so good at one is willing to take time out of their day to write a report. This was the kind of customer service that requires complementing and encouragement. Alistair you earned your salary today! Thank you for your efforts and saving me a visit to glassfit for yet another inspection that would have taken hours out of my day unnecessarily.
