My out building burnt and now only Budget is asking for an electrical certificate, which they did not ask for when I took out the policy. For 5 months I had to keep phoning an emailing them about the progress of the claim. Meantime they continued to deduct the premium. Now they don't even want to refund even 4 premium! That could at least buy one ceiling board! I am disappointed, cheated and feel they should tell us about important requirements when thery start taking our money. Now they make all excuses not to honour their part of the contract or at least try to help me fix my building with at least part of the sum insured. That's what I think they could have done instead of coming with their escape tactics!
