FNB's slogan is "How can we help you".
(I'm receiving SPAM SMS messages from FNB which I would like to stop)
As a frustrated customer I would like to put forward the following suggestions:
1. When I logged a call with FNB's Call Centre on 17 July 2013 to remove my cellphone number from their SPAM SMS distribution list - please just do it.
2. When FNB did not do #1 above and I phoned the Call Centre again on 11 Oct 2013 I got the following reference "tccpdcmxas131-1381482748.4218" but alas, the SPAM SMS kept coming - please just do it!
3. When #1 & #2 above did not happen I logged a complaint on FNB's website on 28 Oct 2013 (at 07:26) and got a reference #12LKDNCV together with a promise that a consultant will contact me within 24 business hours. Surprise, surprise, that also did not happen!!! - Please FNB, don't make promises that you can't keep!
