Im opening a sports bar. I made an appoint 2 meet Absa consultant 2 apply 4 business start up loan. Appoint was made with Wayne Kader @ Wynberg. He called 2 tell me he'd have 2 meet @ Claremont, due 2 renovations in Wynberg. That was not a problem. When we walked in2 the branch, there was nobody @ the information desk We've never been 2 the branch before & had no idea where 2 go so we tried looking around 2 see if there was anybody 2 help us, nobody paid us the slightest bit of attention for a few minutes. A lady appeared & told us 2 go upstairs We reported 2 reception desk as instructed I ve never been in2 a more unfriendly bank in my life. Nobody greets, smiles, nothing. We were taken by Wayne 2 his desk He asked us what he could assist with. We began our story, his phone rang, he took the call. We continued, his cell must've notified him of something. He had it in his hand under his desk & was texting while we were trying 2 tell him our requirements. He didn't pay attention throughout meeting & asked same questions over repeatedly. I ve never been so angry & shocked. I find this behaviour deplorable. Does Absa not need new business? This was the worst banking experience eve
