First National Bank

A week ago I receive an sms saying that FNB has been informed that I am allowing my bond repayments to be taken off on the 20 September instead of month end (where did they this information from??)
Needless to say, I then spent R70 on cell calls trying to get hold of the customer/bond section-to be assured that it has been all sorted out and the debit order will go off as it always does at month end!
Apparently, FNB is taking bond payments early due to the long weekend. WHAT long weekend??? Im not getting a long weekend.
So imagine my utter disgust when early morning I receive an sms informing me that the bond payment has beed deducted from my account!!!
I have now spent another R40 trying to get hold of customer services once again-to be cut off 3 times and then to be told "we are currently experiencing high volumes of calls!!! "-really at 8:10am???
REALLY... STEVE YOU! and all my colleagues agree with me.
