In Jan 2013 I was hit by a lorry and Outsurance mandated Durban panel beater to repair my car. They did a sloppy job. Some of the parts they fitted on the car were generic and they repaired the bonnet instead of replacing it. As it is a standard requirement by Audi accreditted panel beaters and the paint work was horrible. I asked them to take my car to Barlow World in Isando to be repaired as they were recommended by Audi. But Outsurance took my car to CMC and the bonnet was still not replaced because outsurance told them not to. CMC gave Outsurance quotation of - R31 000 but Outsurance gave them SIAS Rectification Summery of - R12 000 to repair the car. I asked for the car to be taken to Barlow World but still they refused. Mr Jaco Van Staden then recommended Auto Body Specialists where my car is now being repaired. On Thurday 22 Aug a lady from ABS called me to tell me that my car will only be completed around 11 Sept. I then asked her if the delay is due to the bonnet that had to be ordered, and she said YES. Today I sent email to ABS wanting to know what are they going to do in relation to the work needs to be done on the car. bonnet was still not 2 b Replaced. Its Bad service
