Std Bank ignore customer queries

Don't bother trying to open new accounts at Std Bank. They appear to ignore emailed queries completely, and when you phone them, they hang up on you. No interest whatsoever in doing their jobs, providing information, or even lodging complaints. They also refuse to provide contact details for their MD, who should surely be made aware of the way they treat prospective customers. Just a terrible experience from start to finish, wasting huge amounts of everybody's time. There are other banks out there who are much more responsive, and who probably deserve your business a lot more than Std Bank.
