On 5/6 June I called Groupon - they delivered an opened item to me which was a 16gig Samsung Tab2 & not the 32Gig I paid for. The consultant informed me they would return my call in a couple of days.
No call came & I called on 12/06 & got cut off speaking to Jamie Lee. I called back & got Basheer. He indicated that their advert was incorrect (Groupons error) and they will reimburse me or provide me with a R150 credit and they will replace my unit as the item was opened.
I called him back the next day with my decision, left a message for him at 10am & asked him to call me around 12h00.By 3pm, no call, so I called back. Basheer apologised saying call volumes were high. In simple terms this reflects bad capacity planning on behalf of Groupon. I asked him to request a new unit and I'll accept the R150 credit - even though this is pathetic compensation for their error, but I did not feel like fighting.
No replacement unit apears and no call
On 24/06 I call & speak to Yusuf who informs me Groupon cant get hold of their supplier. This is not good enough, the item was bought from GROUPON &they must take ownership.
To date, no resolution, no reply, not 1 call, just a survey!
