BILL 2 YEARS LATER

I had a CellC contract about 3yrs ago. Over a yr ago i sent CellC a letter telling them that i would not renew my contract. It could have been December 2011 that my contract was done & i changed my contract number to a prepaid line. i never had any letters, emails, sms from CellC after that. Recently i took out another Top Up contract with CellC & used the same number that i always had & converted it back to a contract sim. Yesterday my husband received a sms on his phone saying: "Dear JM WILLIAMS. YOUR CELLC ACC MAY BE HANDED OVER TO AN ATTORNEY IF NO PAYMENT IS MADE WITHIN 48HR. CALL PHOLOSA ON 0113174308 URGENTLY." Yesterday was the 1st time i ever had any correspondence from CellC with regards to any outstanding money! & then it was sent to my husband's Vodacom phone number. Apparently i owe R900 & when i called this debt collecting company they told me that my Cellc account was handed over to them in June this year. They can't tell me what i initially owed CellC or what number i used!! If they checked their records properly they would notice that i always paid ahead of time & i paid more than what i was billed for. I NEED THIS SORTED OUT!! There's no way i owe money!!
