I had a tablet through FNB, with Cell C, i had put limits on my billing of around R300, additional to purchase as pre-paid. Consultant calls me tells me how wonderful i am that i use so much Data, and will offer me R99.00 pm for 2 gigs of data.
Sneakily some how does not confirm or possibly did, but did not enforce my original limit settings. The fantastic result is a R1355 bill, as the result of non payment, all my lines are suspended, which includes two business cell phones, hindering my ability to perform at my maximum, effecting my earnings etc.
1 and a half weeks later of phoning and having been told that it has been escalated, and i will be called, eventually i am called by cosultant to ask how much i would like to reduce my limit to, avoiding my request to hear the sales tapes and for us to resolve the unfair billing and suspension, after the consultant 8 days ago told me that he had reduced it to R100.00
REALLY!!! where does the consumer proection act kick in. i purchased this through my Bank that i think are awesome, FNB, so i need to call them and tell them what i think of their business relationship with Cell C and why the debit orders have bounced!!
