I had an order last week with takealot and there was some issue that the supplier couldnt get them an item that showed on takealots site as "in stock". Turned out there was 1 of the item and I needed 3.Once I found out that the had to order from a supplier as there wasnt enough to deliver them to me, I was furious but they explained that the system doesnt not account for how many, just displays if there is in stock. Chase had explained this to me. Hanelese phoned and explained that the supplier will not be supplying that item anymore and credited me with that amount. She then explained that I will not be charged if I ordered a set of a similar item which I found fantastic because that item was going to amount to just a bit more that the delivery charge. I then ordered the the replacement items as soon as possible so that takealot wouldnt have had to fill in the delivery charges. It was shipped to me on Saturday and the rest came to me on Monday. On Saturday I found that I only received part of my items and got worried as the site said everything was delivered. Innocentia told me that I will get it on Monday, and like that I did. I must say the takealot customer service team is great.
