I was asked to receive goods yesterday on someones behalf. Since the time I met the delivery truck men we have innumerable bad moments or complaints regarding delivery or Morkels service.
Our goods was signed for by an unknown person, we discovered later on in the night that all boxed had broken seals, some boxes have bird droppings, exposing my family to salmonella and other related sickenesses. This tells of poor risk management and BAD SERVICE.
I phoned branch manager (around 9am) who promised to come back to me soonest, I also sent email (around 11am)with pictures and delivery note to customer care in head office, its only until I phoned in around 14:30 that they said "I have seen emails coming through but I have had time to read them".
It 14:55 now - our case should be as simple as replacing the gooda and investigate in their own time.
Its would be utter disgrace, unprofessionalism and poor customer service that JDG/Morkels will issue us our goods once the investigation is done. They must swop goods and investigate at their own leisure.
