My friend and I often stop at Spar for a quick lunch. We usually go to Avondale and have never experienced any problems there. Food is usually weighed, priced and then plated. 2 days ago we went to Umhlanga Spar and chose food in the same way. My friend had 1 piece of Hake a small chips. I had a tiny portion of rice with thai chicken. We were charged R55 for each meal. When we queried the bill, we were told that all meals are R55!
I think we should have been told before hand so we could have chosed to have the full portion with the choice to take away what we didnt eat.
R110 for 2 really small meals was a ripoff.
