I was renting a property from Status Mark and moved out at the end of March. I had sent in my notice and enquired as to when my deposit will be refunded but did not get a response on the deposit. When I spoke to Caren after moving out I was advised that I would receive the payment in 2 days, this was not received and was advised that this would be resolved ASAP. Upon my next enquiry I was advised that according to the contract payment would be within 14 days after invoicing. this I understood but still wanted a date of when this refund would be received. for the past two weeks I have sent about 5 emails requesting the date and the reponse I get ranges from; the contract clause being stated to being told that the contractors are finalising and will be giving me a date. What I do not understand is what contractors/maintance company is involved in my deposit being refunded as there was no damage or repairs required. I have tried to speak to Charmaine the manager and have not been able to get hold of her for the past 2 weeks as she is always in a meeting or something. Caren is not answering my questions as she continually cuts me short saying she will get the info and get back to me.
